"ABCD (r)" is a double sided 2D packing puzzle with flat tray and restricted opening designed by Girish Sharma and produced by NothingYetDesigns.
Some details about the design from Girish:
A dual side unrestricted (Abcd) and restricted (Abcd r) 2D packing puzzle. While the unrestricted side is meant to be a coffee table puzzle, just flip it over and get ready to face some serious challenge with the additional r piece. Some background - This is officially my first design. It has multi layered meaning. First being the stepping stone of puzzle designing (for me) represented by stepping stone of alphabets. Second being "Any Body Can Design" - my way of saying more folks should design puzzles, and essentially what got me designing as well! Pieces' orientation does not matter. Rotations not allowed for restricted side. There is 1 known (not so easy) shortcut using rotations.
Goal 1: Fit the ABCD pieces into the flat tray side
Goal 2: Fit the ABCD and r piece through the restriction on the opposite side of the frame. No rotations required.
Made of laser cut acrylic with metal hardware.
Approx size: 4" x 4"
*Contains small pieces and is not intended for anyone under 16yrs of age.
